The past couple weeks have been very busy. This past week I got all of the final donations I needed and I posted my website. I also have packed my car with all of the donations (It is very full). As of right now I am trying to get a couple more toilet trees and other specific donations requested. I am going to spend my own money to get a couple specifics needed. This weekend I plan to take the donations to Room in the Inn and hang around there for a little bit. I also plan to work on my ted talk for the grade. My mom is coming with me to take the donations because I got her very intrigued. This project has taught me to fight through adversity because I ran through a couple rough patches and didn't know what I was going to do. Thank You!

More Donations!!
Hello all. This past week was very successful and busy. I went out with my mom and gathered donations from some of her colleagues and also I went door to door for the last gathering of donations. I have also been editing my website a little bit just fixing some small errors. In the near future I plan to work on my final ted talk and also take the donations to the shelter. As of right now I am doing some posts on my website. I have also been organizing my donations. I am organizing the children's clothes, the men's clothes, and the women clothes. I have also got all of the cans I have collected. I am also separating the toilet trees like shampoo and razors into a different box. I can't wait to see how these people react to all of the things I am donating to them. I am excited for the near future. :)

Website Complete
Greetings. I have accomplished a lot in the past week and today. This past week I have gotten another full garbage bag of donations and I have also been working on my website. My mom has been a key piece of these donations. I have received donations from a lot of her friends and also I have gone door to door in my neighborhood to gather donations. I have also gotten a few people at my school to give donations. Today I worked on the final touches of my website, and I finally completed the website! My website consists of pictures and also just more details about what I'm doing. In the near future I will be visiting Room in the Inn and dropping off all of the donations I have received. I will also be spending time with the homeless people and be asking people questions. I can't wait what the near future has in store.

Finishing Touches on the Website
The past couple weeks have consisted of critiquing my website because I want it to be just perfect. I have been running through each page of it countless times to make sure it is polished for my final product. Today I continued to work on my website and I also added a couple pictures to the front page and I also put in a new section. I have also been talking to my mom about the project and she kindly told her friends about what i'm doing and they have decided they want to help the cause. My mom's friends have donated so much clothes and toilet trees that I can't fit all of it in my truck! So all of the donations are lying in my basement along with a few that are in my truck. Today I also took pictures of what I have in my truck which is a big box of board games and books along with a big bag of clothes, belts, shoes, etc. In the weeks to come I plan to keep polishing my website to where it is error free and it is welcoming to any viewer. I also plan to get a couple more loads of donations to take to Room in the Inn. I can't wait to see what is in store!

Website Coming Along!
Hello. This week has been a busy one. I have been emailing Billy Eldridge lately about Room in the Inn and also what campaigns he has been doing to get donations for his non-profit. I also got a donation of a big box of board games which will hopefully be in the Room in the Inn waiting room. Today I worked more on my website and it is coming along quite well. The website will consist of three pages. I am using a website builder called Weebly. The pictures of the website are below! In the weeks to come I plan to gather more clothing items and also more shampoos, lotions, and other things of that nature for personal hygiene. The back of my truck is starting to get very full! In my website you will see a page of all the current necessities, and the things Room in the Inn need is far more than just clothing and food. These people need toilet trees and even batteries so the donation list is very wide-spread. I can't wait to see what the weeks ahead have in store!

Vlog and Blog
Hello all. So this past week has been a very busy one for me. I am working on getting more donations from people in my neighborhood. I have also been working on my website using the website builder Weebly. I have added a couple pages to my website such as a home page, a donation list page, and also a contact page. The home page basically just states what I'm doing and a little bit about myself. The donation list page has a large list of the current needs for Room in the Inn and what they are requesting. The contact page just has my email in case anyone wants to contact me and learn more about me. This week I also did a video blog (vlog) in this vlog I basically talk about why I am doing this project and what it will mean in the long run. This upcoming week I plan to keep working on my website and also gather more donations. Thanks, Walker

Details about Room in the Inn
Hello, all. Today I am going to tell you all more facts about Room in the Inn and also more about donations. Room in the Inn was founded in 1986 in Nashville, TN. They have been helping homeless people and people living in Poverty for the past 31 years. They now have 190 venues and have over 6,000 volunteers! Their main purpose is to offer emergency services, transitional programs, and long term solutions to help people rebuild their lives. This week I have told my high school advisory that if each one of them brings donations I will bring donuts from Donut Den in Nashville. I am currently trying to get as many donations as I possibly can. I am also still working on my Weebly website to keep up with more updates and announcements. Today I continued to work on my website and I also reached out to a representative at Room in the Inn. Thanks!

New Announcement!
Hello all. I have an important announcement but before i get into explaining that i want to tell you all what we as a class did today. Today we talked about why we are doing this project and i want to explain further why i am doing this project. I have lived in a nice area of town and lived in a nice house my whole entire life, and i had really never seen real poverty until i moved to Nashville about a year and a half ago. When i saw homeless people on the side of the street and i started to do some volunteer work i learned that not everyone is as privileged as myself. So with that being said, i am doing this project because i want people that aren't as privileged as me to have food to eat and clothes to wear to make their situation a little bit better. Now for the new announcement, I have decided that i am going to donate all of the stuff i have collected so far to the Room in the Inn located in Nashville! I have spoken to a representative there and they are willing to take all donations. Thank you!
